Regional airport apron — panel replacement QA

Before repouring 340 concrete apron panels near a regional taxiway, the GC needed a subsurface QA program that satisfied the owner's engineer without shutting down operations. We ran a multi-channel 3D array across the target grid at night, producing depth-slice imagery for every panel over three consecutive shifts.

Two panels flagged severe delamination that had gone undetected during visual survey. The GC pulled and re-poured those panels alongside the planned scope — saving an emergency mobilization two months later.

Scottsdale resort — vanishing 900 gallons/day

A five-star resort was losing roughly 900 gallons a day from a pool complex with no visible sign of failure. Two prior "leak detection" vendors had recommended full deck demolition — a five-figure repair on a busy resort.

We isolated pressure to individual circuits, ran acoustic amplification across the deck, and pinpointed a single skimmer return break behind a decorative water feature. The repair was a two-square-foot cut. The resort reopened the pool the same afternoon.

Downtown Phoenix high-rise — PT layout for MEP penetrations

A 22-story mixed-use building needed 84 post-tension cable-clear core locations across floors 3–18 to route new MEP risers. Every miss could hit a live PT cable and force the structural engineer to redesign the anchorage.

We scanned every marked location in two working days, delivered on-slab paint marks and a PDF report suitable for the SE's file, and coordinated directly with the coring crew. Zero PT strikes across 84 cores. The GC used the same crew for the follow-up firestopping — one vendor, one COI, one schedule.

Chandler data center — pre-excavation clearance

A hyperscale operator was expanding a Chandler campus with 1,200 linear feet of new trench for storm and low-voltage. Arizona 811 marked the public lines to the meter — everything past that was a private-locate problem across a live yard.

We ran GPR paired with electromagnetic and acoustic locators across the entire alignment. Three unmapped conduits and an abandoned drain line surfaced — one of them a live 480V feeder that had migrated 4 feet from its as-built. The trench alignment was adjusted the same day.

Law-enforcement forensic recovery — cold case support

A state agency requested subsurface support on a decades-old missing-person investigation. The site was 4.5 acres of mixed vegetation and disturbed fill. Detail work was covered by MOU and remains under seal.

Working under detective supervision, we gridded the search area, produced depth-slice imagery of anomalies of interest, and delivered a written report suitable for chain-of-custody. Two anomalies were excavated by the recovery team. Casework continues; agency feedback was strongly positive.
